The new space allows for increased capacity and features 12 operatories, brand new dental equipment, a state of the art digital radiology system, dental lab and sterilization room. Whitney Young Health’s Dental services include cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, fillings, extractions, partial and full dentures, emergency treatment and dental health education.
“The expansion of our Albany Dental Practice is the first step in the overall goal for Whitney Young Health to improve access to dental services for our community’s most vulnerable population,” says David Shippee, Whitney Young Health’s President & CEO. “We will continue to support this goal through additional fundraising, which will help us improve access to dental care for low income families and ultimately improve oral health for children and families in our community.”
