Know Your Status – National HIV National Testing Day

One in 8 people living with HIV in the U.S. don’t know they have it. That means they aren’t getting the medical care they need to stay healthy and to avoid passing HIV to others.  You can help change this — spread the word about National HIV Testing Day on June 27.

The goal is to raise awareness about the importance of HIV testing and early diagnosis of HIV. HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) is the virus that causes AIDS. Many people with HIV don’t have any symptoms. Help encourage HIV testing on National HIV Testing Day and every day to ensure people get tested for HIV, know their status, and get linked to care and treatment service.
