Whitney Young is one of the largest providers in the Capital Region of travel immunizations. If you are planning a trip abroad for vacation, work or school, we are here to help.

It is best to schedule your travel immunizations at least 4-6 weeks before your trip, especially if you will need a series of injections.

Also, it is important to be aware that it takes about two full weeks for full immunity (protection from disease) to develop.

Important reminders:

• Payment is required at the time of service (cash, check, credit card) since most insurers, including Medicaid, do not cover these costs.
• A parent or legal guardian must accompany all minors (less than 18 years of age) for their travel immunizations.
