HIV/AIDS Medicine

Everyone has an HIV status: positive or negative...the most important thing is knowing.

At Whitney M. Young, Jr. Health Services we will support you throughout your HIV test experience.

Our Community Health Workers will help you understand what your HIV status means, whether you're positive or negative. If you're negative, we can provide ongoing prevention education. And if you're positive or if you know someone who is, we can help you get the confidential services you need to keep you physically, socially, and emotionally healthy.

You are not alone! We have qualified, professional, trained staff to work with our HIV-positive patients. We have various support groups for you and your loved ones, where you can talk openly with people who are going through the same things as you. Whitney Young's HIV/AIDS team works with many community agencies, so if there is a service you require that we don't offer, we will help you find someone who does! Getting tested is easy, but taking the first step to be tested can be hard.

There are several HIV testing options available, give us a call and we'll let you know our testing schedule.
