To provide access to consistent quality healthcare without regard to income. We care about you! At Whitney M. Young, Jr. Health Services, we believe that good health means more than just treating an illness. As our patient, we will work one-on-one with you to make sure that all of your needs are met, whether that means teaching you about the best ways to take care of your teeth, helping you to get the right vitamins for your pregnancy or making sure you have the right diet to control your blood pressure. We treat patients of all ages in a warm and confidential atmosphere, where you will receive the best possible care. All patients are given the same high level of treatment, no matter what your age, race, religion, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, insurance status or ability to pay might be. At Whitney Young, we can help you to do more than just get and stay healthy, we can also assist you in finding other helpful resources in our community. We have partnerships with many human and social service agencies, schools and universities, houses of worship, state and national organizations, and hospitals that may be able to help you with the other services you need. By working with our case managers or other health professionals, we will try to assist you in finding services such as affordable health insurance, educational and job training programs, or safe and affordable housing for you and your family. You can also learn new skills or receive the support you need in one of the many free classes or groups that we routinely offer such as diabetes education programs, nutritional and recreational programs for seniors, depression support groups for new moms, bilingual HIV education and support groups, bilingual addiction management support groups, and nutritional classes.
