More than 3 million Americans have chronic Hepatitis C, and up to 75% of people don't even know it.

The month of May is dedicated to Hepatitis Awareness Month, where the primary focus is encouraging the public to be informed, be tested, and ultimately be treated. Viral hepatitis is the inflammation of the liver caused by a virus. In the United States, the most common types of viral hepatitis are Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C. To get educated on each type of viral hepatitis, how they spread, and how to treat it, read below. (There’s a graphic detailing information about Hep A, B, C)

Did You Know? Up to 5.3 million Americans have chronic Hepatitis B or Hepatitis C infection.
